75% of crops depend on pollinators, yet our cities remain ecological deserts. In Finland, one-third of our 225 wild bees species are classified as endangered.
Our urban honeybees act as Essential Ambassadors to their wild cousins, sparking conversations in boardrooms where critical environmental decisions are made.

For partners who need to move from doing good to measuring results and supporting scientific advancement, our Research Beehives turn the colony into a high-tech environmental sensor, turning 60,000 bees into a Research Team. We do it through:
DNA Pollen Sequencing
Using DNA technology to analyze pollen, we identify exactly which plant species are thriving in your neighborhood.
Bio-Indicator Health Check
We analyze honey and wax for heavy metals and pesticides. This provides a "Health Check" for the area.
Global contribution
This data is part of a global scientific network, mapping urban health, biodiversity, and research about pollinator’s conservation.

While industrial honey can be a blend of everywhere and nowhere, our honey is place-based: a liquid record of every flower within your hive's reach, brought by the industrious workers that make everything bloom.
Our residents are currently active, turning concrete rooftops into 3km corridors of pollination. Every dot on this map is a building that has decided to host the wild, creating a high-definition record of our city’s collective health.
